York House Centre Membership - Why become a member?
York House Centre is an independent community centre wholly owned by its members and run by and for the community of Stony Stratford. York House Centre receives no grant aid from the council or any similar body.
Anyone who is over the age of 18 and is either on the electoral register for Stony Stratford or has a strong association with the area may be a member. Local organisations may be members.
Members receive regular newsletters, are informed of our activities and are entitled to come to all members meetings such as the AGM. Members help to decide the future of York House Centre. Members elect the Directors who run the centre and are entitled themselves to stand for election.
Membership is free and the maximum liability is only £10
